Sarah Harrison-McQueen, Senior Pastor
A graduate of Boston University School of Theology and Virginia Wesleyan College, Rev. Sarah Harrison-McQueen has served as a minister in the Virginia Conference since 2007. Kim Smith, Lay Member of Annual Conference

Kim Smith has attended CUMC for 4 years and participated in multiple church programs, including the homeless and young adult ministries. She currently serves as our lay member of annual conference. She can be contacted at ksmith@cumcballston.org.













Gene Cross, Building Committee Chair

Gene chairs the building committee and is helping to lead our 2016 "From Dreams to Reality" campaign.












Tish Van Patten, Administrative Assistant

Tish manages all aspects of the CUMC office.  Tish helps members share information and news, coordinates events, and administers the church operations.  She is also available to help visitors plan their visit to CUMC.  Tish can be contacted at Office@CUMCBallston.org.









Barbara Peterson Cackler, Music Director

Barbara was born and raised in Kansas, where she began studying the piano at the age of four.  She received her Bachelor of Music degree from the Oberlin Conservatory of Music and her Master of Music degree from the Yale School of Music.  Barbara has done extensive private teaching, accompanying, and chamber music, and has served as music director and organist for several churches.  She has also given recitals throughout the United States and the Indian Sub-Continent as well.  Barbara maintains an active private teaching studio and is a member of the American Guild of Organists, the Friday Morning Music Club, and the MTNA.
