Looking for a Fresh Start this year?

The Bible says that God’s mercies are new every morning. What a gift to have the potential for a fresh start every day! How would you like a new beginning? Or how about breaking a pattern or cycle that continues to wreak havoc in your life? Fresh starts don’t begin with a change of circumstances (a new job, new location, or new relationship – or even a new year…) they begin with a change of heart.

Our culture is always trying to sell us a quick-fix transformation, whether it is for our home, wardrobe, or body. We’re lured by the thoughts: “I can do better,” “I can do more,” or “I can be a better me.” How are we tempted to try to reinvent ourselves? But trying harder to be better, do more, or live differently doesn’t always create the Fresh Start we hope is possible.

God offers us each a Fresh Start. In fact, God offers a Fresh Start every morning! It’s a new year and Central United Methodist Church invites you to join us as we explore how to make the most of this Fresh Start.
