Water Ministry

The CUMC “Water Ministry” carries on! This summer, when the temperature is above 90 degrees Fahrenheit, a cooler with ice and bottles of water are placed on the church steps for anyone passing by to have a free drink. We typically go through four cases of water per day. There are many ways that you can help! You can bring bottled water and leave it in the elevator vestibule, or you can put a check or envelope with cash in the offering plate designated for “water ministry”. Please contact Gene at LayLeader@CUMCBallston.org or Richard at Pastor@CUMCBallston.org to volunteer to help fill the cooler on the front steps. Helps is especially needed on Mondays and weekends. We also need help bagging ice from the kitchen freezer for use the next day. This has been a great outreach ministry to our community and you can make a difference. Thank you!
