Annual Easter Egg Hunt
posted Mar 31, 2010 12:15 AM by Fabian Rosado
All children are invited to the Annual Easter Egg Hunt on Easter morning April 4th after the 11 a.m. service. Please bring your empty baskets and wait in the social hall (where refreshments are served) for the “OK” to hunt!

Looking for helpers for the Easter Bunny! We need plastic eggs and fillings (candy, erasers, stickers, etc.) for the Annual Easter Egg Hunt at Central. Please leave them on the table in the social hall or in the kitchen with my name on it. We traditionally fill these eggs after the Easter breakfast, so stick around for some Easter fun!

Everyone is invited to the Annual Easter breakfast at 9:30 a.m. following the early morning service. Please bring an egg casserole, bread, muffins, quiche, fruit, juice…anything to share!

Happy Easter!

Dear Friends:

In two weeks, it will be Holy Week and today is a wonderful day in Arlington.  The trees will soon be in bloom and the flowers will be blossoming all around us.  The grass will soon be green and ready for the first cutting. Spring is here and before we know it, we will be surrounded by new life.

We will be blessed with special services at Central and I hope that you are planning on attending all of them.  At the 7:00 PM service on Maundy Thursday night, April 1st, we will hear the special music our choir has selected for the evening and share communion.

Easter morning, April 4th, will find us in the courtyard at 9:00 AM. to greet each other and sing praises to the Risen Lord. There will be special music again this year and we will share the Easter story! This year, Bridgeway242 will be joining us and Brian Wilbur, their Pastor, will bring the message.  Breakfast will follow and be served from 9:30 until 10:30 AM.  Our 11:00 o’clock worship service will be a service of celebration and praise.

I hope your Lenten journey to Jerusalem has prepared you for resurrection.  I am praying that many will find the Risen Lord this Easter and that lives will be changed forever.  We are a church where all of God’s people are CALLED by God, TRANSFORMED by the Holy Spirit and SENT to be Christ in the world.  May our vision become reality this Easter as we find new life in the risen Lord.

Please come and join us during Holy Week and when we gather on Easter, I am praying that you will be with us and that you will bring many friends!

Hugs,  Richard
