![]() You are cordially invited to participate in the annual “Back
to School” event. Each year a local
school is identified where our donations can go a very long way in making sure
the children there have appropriate supplies to get them off to a great
start. Our school this year is Hoffman-Boston Elementary
School in south Arlington. There
are three ways you are invited to help: 1) Shop for supplies (check the flyers from Staples, Office Depot, Toys R Us, and various drugstores for really great bargains) and then bring them to church. Boxes for the donations will be clearly marked and located in Fellowship Hall, the Narthex, and by the elevator.
2) Donate money and we will do the shopping for you! Please mark any cash or donation by check with a notation that it is for the school supply project. I promise that we will stretch those dollars a very long way!
3) Plan to be with us after church on Sunday, August 26. We will sort, count, and package up all the donated supplies….The boxes will be delivered to the Hoffman-Boston principal the following week.
The end date for this project is Sunday, August 26.
