To keep up with information while they travel you can "like" the Facebook page for the pilgrimage.
One of the goals for this trip is to visit mission sites and schools established by American missionaries 130 years ago. This allows us to see the fruit of seeds planted by previous generations. This is a great opportunity to see the fruit of ministry at a time when Central UMC is planning to plant seeds ministry that will bear fruit in Ballston for the next 130 years.
Please hold this team in your prayers as they prepare for their Spiritual Pilgrimage. Teams members include:

The resurrection isn’t the end our faith story, it is just the beginning! Join Central UMC for our sermon series “Resurrection: the story continues” highlighting the events after Jesus’ resurrection and the start of the early church. Our journey through the book of Acts will connect with the Bible stories portrayed on the new TV series “A.D.” This show explores stories in the “Acts of the Apostles” that bring to life the experiences of the first followers of Christ and their struggles to survive and share their faith. The show airs on NBC on Sundays at 9:00 p.m.
We're excited to announce that the Young Adults will be collecting donations over the next few months from the congregation for health kits to send along to the United Methodist Committee on Relief (UMCOR).
Health kits provide basic necessities to people who have been forced to leave their homes because of human conflict or natural disaster. Health kits are also used as learning tools in personal hygiene, literacy, nutrition, and cooking classes.
For the next month, we will be asking members of the church to donate materials for the kits or to make monetary donations towards the project. On May 3rd the Young Adults will meet up after service and assemble all of the Health Kits and package them to send off to UMCOR.
Click here to view a list of items we are requesting for the kits.
Please drop off donated supplies at church on or before April 26th. You may also give a special offering for these health kits up to the Sunday of May 3rd. Simply mark "health kits" on your offering envelope and checks and we will pick up the supplies for you!
